Chlamydia Screening Programme

The Chlamydia Screening Programme enables young people 15 - 24 years of age to do a simple test by either collecting a urine sample or vaginal swab themselves, which they then pop in the post.  Their result is sent by text, email or by post, which ever they choose.

Tests are available to collect at many GP surgeries, Pharmacies, SWISH Clinics, and services where young people attend. They are also available to order online for 16–24-year-olds and they can Google 'Freetest me'

If your organisation needs replacement tests or wants to make them available to young people at your service, you can contact the Chlamydia Screening Office by emailing somersetcs@somersetft.nhs.uk
